 We need data to browse the internet, finding a cheap data plan to subscribe seems to be a problem that is why i wrote down these data plans and there subscription code. You can check your data balance by sending 2 to 131 or by dialing *559# or *131*4# or *559*2#

MTN Night plans.

This is a gift from MTN to the night crawlers. If you like working at night or reading online at night this plan seems to be a gift from MTN for just 25NGN you can get 500MB. When I have a lot of work to do or I need to download a lot of files i stay awake and use this plan. Read Below for more details

1.       Before  you can use this service you need to be In MTN PULSE, if you are not already in MTN PULSE you need to migrate to MTN Pulse to migrate dial *406# or send 406 to 131.

2.       MTN night plan cost 25NGN for 500MB minimum. So you need to have at least 30NGN in you MTN line before you can use the service.

3.       Send NIGHT to 131 via SMS, or simply dial *406# and select Night browsing, you will get a return SMS telling you that you have successfully subscribed for Night Browsing.

NOTE: MTN night plan cost 25NGN and the plan is from 12a.m to 4am.

Have you heard of MTN Goodbag . When you run out of data and you don’t have the money to subscribe for one of the MTN heavy bundle or your are expecting a message from whatsapp or facebook and you can not afford to be discontected  you can go for the Goodybag Social Plans this  plan is made for people who cannot do without staying online.

How to Transfer Data o MTN With Data Gifting.

Data Gifting allows you to transfer data to another MTN line, with Data Gifting you can transfer Data to you employee, friends, loved ones etc the data amount you transferred will be deducted from you Data Balance.

·         To transfer Data to other MTN user through Data Gifting you have to first register for Data Gifting Service by Dialing *131# and OK

·         Select  7 (Data Gift)

·         I believe that from there you can pilot your own affairs.

·         In the Msisdn box enter the number of the person you are sending the Data to.

Data Renewal Deactivation

 If you did not cancel your data and you don’t wish to rollover your unused data your money will be deducted for Data when your subscription expires.  So do ensure to cancel auto renewal to save your money.

To Deactivate Auto Renewal on MTN Dial *123*5*1# and follow the instructions.

MTN Configuration Settings.

This is a tech Blog if I finish writing this blog without writing the Automatic and Manual APN settings for MTN then this blog post is not complete. If you are having problems browsing on your MTN Line follow this procedure to request for automatic settings and if your device can not be automatically setup you can use the Manual Setup procedure.  

·         For AUTOMATIC send SETTINGS as SMS to 3888.

·         For MANUAL CONFIGURATION  use the Settings below

Username/Login :  web
